Our story
About Softyz Inc - The Cloud Backup Company Built for Everyone
Softyz Inc. was founded on a simple belief — protecting your files should never require technical expertise, a large budget, or an IT department. We built the platform we wished existed: automatic, secure, and effortless for everyone.
How it started
How it started
As Softyz Inc. grew, so did its commitment to serving businesses of all shapes and sizes. The launch of the Business plan opened the doors for teams and small-to-medium businesses to experience enterprise-grade data protection without the enterprise-level complexity. Shortly after, Softyz Inc. achieved ISO 27001 certification and completed a SOC 2 Type II audit — two of the most respected international standards in data security — cementing its place as a platform that enterprises could trust with their most sensitive information. Today, Softyz Inc. proudly serves companies alongside startups and SMBs, offering custom SLAs, dedicated account managers, and multi-cloud disaster recovery options that are tailored to the unique needs of each client.

What drives us
Our mission, vision, and purpose
Three ideas that guide every product decision, every hire, and every line of code written at Softyz Inc.
We exist to give people and businesses the confidence to create, work, and grow — knowing that whatever they build digitally is always safe, always accessible, always theirs.
A world where every person and every business — regardless of size, budget, or technical skill — has reliable, effortless protection for every piece of digital data they create.
To make data protection so simple, secure, and affordable that losing your files becomes something that simply never happens — for anyone, anywhere in the world.
Our values
The principles that guide everything we do
These are not poster slogans. They are the standards we hold ourselves to every day — in our product, our support, our hiring, and how we treat every user.
We optimise for trust built over decades, not growth hacked over quarters. Every product decision at Softyz Inc. is measured against one question: “Will this make our users more confident that their data is safe five years from now?” If the answer isn’t yes, we…
When we have an incident, we publish it — immediately, clearly, and with a root cause analysis. When our pricing changes, we give existing users ample notice. We never bury important information in fine print. Our users deserve the full truth, always.
A student protecting her thesis, a mother saving her children’s photos, a startup securing its codebase, and a hospital protecting patient records — they all deserve the same quality of protection. We price and design Softyz Inc. for the full spectrum of human need.
Backup software that fails when you need it most is worse than useless. We hold ourselves to 99.99% uptime, publish all incidents publicly, and treat every outage as a code-red emergency — because your data’s safety is not something we compromise on.
Your data belongs to you — not to us, not to advertisers, not to anyone else. Zero-knowledge encryption is not a feature at Softyz Inc. It is the foundation. We built our architecture so that even our own engineers cannot access your files.
The best backup tool is the one people actually use. We obsess over reducing complexity — because an unused, complicated tool is worse than having no tool at all. Every feature we build must be discoverable by your grandmother and trusted by your CTO.
